I ordered some 6x9 Pioneer 5 ways from RadioShack.com for only $89 ... Every place else they go for like $150 why is radio Shack so cheap? BTW anyone use these speakers? They are supposed to have a little more base then the pioneer 3 and 4 way. Cant wait to hook them up with my new pionner deck

 

I had no idea they sold car audio equipment on their website. When it was in-store, it was always their brand (sometimes pretty good stuff too). They quit carrying any form of 12v equipment several years ago, which I think was stupid because it was always a steady selling product.

 

Yeah I guess they just sell em on the radioshack website..cus it says not available in stores. Made out good though cus my gf bought me the same pionners but 3 way not 5 way for $100 at BestBuy..I diddent open it so we are gunna return it. From what I heard the 5 ways have alot better sounding base compared to the 3 way

 

some model #'s would be helpfull,
if they are a series they likely have the same woofer
ans bass output.

Btw whats the difference? I guess D series are better hu? I hope the A series ones I got are decent at least. I can always add 5 1/2's in the back I guess

Retail the A series 5 way and the D series 2 way are the same price...

 

Dammit the crutchfield website says it wont fit on the front speakers of my dodge ram! Is this true ? If so I need to cancle my order before it ships

Red Ram what kind of speakers did you get? I did some reading on this forum and some people say to just use the fitting from the stock speakers ....
