Lowering a 4X4 just seems wrong......have you considered raising the frontwith a leveling kit?

If your heart is set on it, you could just pull out the rear blocks.

IMO don't lower the back end of the truck to level it out. Buy a spindle, spacer, or spring leveling kit to bring the front end up. A 4x4 should have more ground clearance than a 2wd....not less.....

BTW....I'm not trying to rag on these sorts of things...it just seems sort of ironic that a person would want to lower a 4x4

Yeah you can buy lowering shackles. I got mine from belltech and they level out the rear 2 inches so it sits level. As you can already tell, you will have some haters in here so you better be prepared.

There was just a thread on here about the same thing.. there is a guy named Brian on here starting his own business selling the best 2" shackles out there currently for $89 i believe.

I'd like it if you PM me afterward to let me know if there is any difference in ride etc... as i plan to do the same thing in the future..

Go to www.slammed1.com and get his 2" drop shackles. I got them and removed my overload spring on my 4x4. Its totally level and I love the look. I have 22" wheels for the summer and 17" wheels for the winter that way I have the best of both sides look.
