new truck throwing some money at it
Ok so bought a 2wd short bed reg cab as a project truck thinking about 2in drop in front and 5in drop in rear and running 22" srt wheels and sway bar in the rear, but here is the problem it has 3.55 rear end with factory limited slip(junk from what i am reading) and i want to change gears and add adetriot or auburnLSD but stuck on whether 4.11s or 4.56 anyone done this swap? my RPMs are realy low on freeway so not to concerned about that and i know i will get worse mileage but i didnt buy it for mileage
As for speed i like the new 310HP4.7 suprisingly quick for a light pick up, maybee supercharger that would make things interesting
I wont be doing much towing with it ,got my other rig for that .Ijust want the gears for performance but it is not cheap so want to get it right the first time.

What type of cam are you running ? no tuners out for this new 4.7 yet ,SCT said maybee this summer. gonna do my own custom exhaust (got a full mufler shop at my disposal) didnt get the hemi had one before and was faster than my old 4.7. But not much more than this new motor and i dont need the stalling, sputtering ecm that cant make up its mind[:@] , And like i said truck is light and 2wd so should be plenty of fun.personaly i think this new 4.7 might have some people gettin it instead of hemi, Atleast i hope so and then maybee we will see some more aftermarket parts
Cam would be cool to do how much it run you for cam?

Yeah, deff. As far as drop, I think the kits are mostly 2/4 drop. I know hemiyellow has one. you can just look around and do a couple searches and find some stuff about lowering. As far as modding out a 4.7 engine, I don't think anyone is better at it than airram. You should check out his website or give him a call. He knows these motors inside and out.
