I currently own a 2006 Dodge Ram Night Runner Special edition 4x4 w/hemi. I love the truck and since my lease is up in June, I am thinking about keeping it. However, with the new Rams' lifetime powertrain warranties, I am a little reluctant to keep my 06. My ram was purchased in the summer of 06 so I wouldn't qualify for the factory lifetime warranty. Does anyone know if Dodge offers an upgrade to a lifetime warranty for 06 models?? This will be playing a huge role in my decision to keep the truck...

Has anyone upgraded thier 06model to a lifetime warranty?? Does dodge even offer this?? If so, how much did it cost??

They don't offer it..

 

06s (and early 07s)have the worst warranty. 7/70 powertrain ended in 05. Then in the 07 model year they began lifetime.
