HAs anyone dumped the 20 inch wheels on their 1500 yet?
Hi everyone,
Has anyone dumped their 20 inch wheels on the 1500 Ram? I was on the lot looking at 08 1500's and they all have the 20's with very "car like" tires. I would want a much more agressive tire, and in the 20 inch range there are few choices. I think a 17 inch wheel would be good? Has anyone done it? How does it look? I am a big fan of the BFG AT's.

I think these tires look very decent on the 20's and will be my next tires:

but to answer your question yes there's a bunch of guys on here that went with 17's and meatier tires...

There are a lot of people that got rid of there 20's for 17's, I think some of the reasons were the price difference in tires. 17" tires are a lot cheaper. When I bought mine the dealer offered to swap my 17's for 20's from the trucks they had on there lot. I told him no thanks, I ordered my truck with 17's and thats the way I'll keep it.

Mine although the Mega Cab came with the 17's and I still upgraded just the tire. I like the 17" wheels... and I like a lot of rubber between my truck and the off road

na i stuck with the 20's, but i' dying for the classic lock II's, i want em bad. i threw on some toyo open country M/T's loks pretty good, awesome tire though

I just bought an 04 qc 1500 4x4 which already has a lift on it with 17" wheels with 315/70/r17 BFG A/T's on it and i think it looks pretty badass....i don't know how to post a pic on here since this is my first post but let me know how to or your email and i'll send you a pic of it...
