My suspension lift only took 4 hrs. One guy.
Okay, I am an idiot. I went to the guys that did it. And it took two guys 5 hours. But they had a lift and all that jazz, since it was the dodge dealership that did it ( I know some guys up there so I got it for a good deal). I spoke too soon...

body lift for $250, suspension lift for $300 and a leveling kit for $65.
man i thought we'd be cheap in texas with all our mesking labor. Thats ridiculously low on all accounts. Most places sell torsion bars for 50 bucks so 15 bucks for labor? hrm.

one of the better shops in town here in san antonio 85 for the spacers (4x4) and 130 for the install, about a grand for a 3 inch body lift, 1900 for a 6 inch lift and correct me if im wrong but a 6 inch lift will require new wheels because the spindle will rub on your factory wheel, i think that sounds about right.

as far as needing bigger tires for a body lift, get the gap guards and youll be alright, since its a 2wd truck your front end is lower than a stock 4x4 so it wont be much higher thant how a 4x4 dodge looks. i wouldnt go with a susp lift on a 2wd truck, too much money (well not if its 300 bucks, you sure its not 300 per wheel?????), no point in having that much clearance when wet grass will get you stuck.

going with the torsion bar route your ride will be ridgid.

When I called them I asked how much to install a body lift, suspension etc.... and they asked if I had the kit already and I said yes cuz I wont be buying it from them and he gave me those prices. He even had to look the prices up cuz he didnt know off hand. So if thats the real price I will be checking on there reputation and probably getting it done in the summer.

oefootball_70: How much was your lift to get it installed?

Ramitone: I cant go with torsion bars, well cuz I dont have any.

And on the rough country site for the:

3" suspension lift it says 2-4 hours
6" suspension lift it says 6-8 hours

I have an 07 4x4 Quad cab with the leveling kit and I run 35inch tires on 20inch wheels. I get a slight bit of rub on extreme turns, but not much. Looking for a 3inch Body lift, but no one makes them for 07.
