EGR Codes?

EGR Codes?
I have a friend with a gas pot 5.7 L Hemi 1500 SRT 2005 and it is giving her a few problems. It is throwing EGR codes and hesitating on accelleration.
Unplugged the EGR, still running like crap.
Good fuel put in, Methyl hydrate as well.
Any ideas? Truck has 64000km on it. Still stock no mods,
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Mines a Diesel 2500 so I got no clue.
