I have the 10.5 LSD
I called Dodge with my Vin #
They said bring it in to a dealer, they couldn't tell me
Dealer said they didn't know either, couldn't tell by just looking
Trash on it and when it breaks we'll find out - I have a lifetime to find out.....

For all those wondering which limited slip unit is in your truck, I got the followingresponse from AAM.

Bob,
All axle that American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) produces are one of four:
Open
Electronic Open Locker
Helical
Electronic Helical locker
By the description that you are listing below, if the window sticker stated Anti-spin differential the it is a TracRite "GT".
Currently AAM is not supplying and plate clutch designs to Dodge.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
This means that at least the 2006 and up2500's and 3500's come with the helical LDS which is by far better than clutch based systems.
(unless of course you are lucky enough to own a Power Wagon, then you have the Electrical Helical Locker).
Now we know!!!!

Cool!
I just had mine at the dealer yesterday for my first oil change at 2600 miles and my friend is the "drive issue tech" for Hemi's there, and the "master transmission tech" actually did my oil change....
I have a 1500 MC with LSD and there have been several threads on the differencesbetween the1500and 2500..... NO DIFFERENCES
(Hemi's)
We put a 2500 Hemi with LSD right next to mine.... same rearend, same tranny, same shocks, same springs, same same same....
