Default engine codes

Where can I find info on engine codes? I've got P2175 and P2106 coming up on my '03 Ram with 5.7 Hemi.

I've had trouble with electronic throttle control warnings and I was finally able to get codes off the computer.

Thanks,
Bob

I can only find codes 2105 and 2107 no 2106

2105 Throttle actuator control (TAC) system - Forced engine shutdown.
2107 Throttle actuator control (TAC) - Module internal circuit.

Can't find code 2175 only code 2176 Minimum throttle position not learned.

It does seem that your throttle body actuator is screwed.
Have you removed the throttle body to clean it recently?
If you did, did you move the throttle body blade forceably?
If no to the above, check to see if any gunk/crap/build up deposits are on the blades.
If so, give it a clean. Do a search for how to clean your throttle body and make sure you only use brake cleaner NOT throttle body cleaner as per Dodge instuctions and DO NOT force the throttle body blade open.
Try a clean up. You have nothing to loose and all to gain.
Hope this helps you??
Al.

Default RE: engine codes

Is changing the throttle body just a matter of pulling off the old and pluging in a new one or is there more to it (like reprograming/flashing the computer)?

Can I just go down to Autozone and find one in stock or is it something I need to plan ahead and order?

Thanks again for the replies. I have only been around this forum for a few days and I really appriciate the help I'm recieving.

Bob
