Default noisy rear end

My 02 1500 has started to clunk when I shift to drive and/or reverse. The tranny shifts fine. At the same time I isolated a squeak to the rear end that gets quicker with acceleration.. I greased the rear u-joint and the sound did not change or go away. The drive shaft has no play in it. The rear diff. fluid is topped off and doesn't smell burnt. Is there anything obvious that I could see or fix if I took off the diff. cover?

I read your thread title and was gonna simply suggest you stop eating beans...

I'd pull the diff. cover for a look-see, ESPECIALLY if you have the factory LSD! Plus it can't hurt to have the excuse to change the lube in there anyway...
