let hammer know, if he already doesnt know himself. hes been looking forward to the SCT launch. i heard its suppose to be pretty good but its $200 more than the superchips, but hear its worth it bc of custom tuning on it that superchips lack

Yea, been available for about 2 weeks now, I MADE A POST ON HERE like the day after it was released! Some saw it, cause there were a few responses.
I'd jump on it now, but don't need it to replace my Superchips till I install the CAM, and since I blew my mod money on my Grand Cherokee Overland daily driver, it'll be a couple of months till I have the finances in order. So, I guess it'll give me time to observe the guinea pigs who get one first...

You can check KRC Performance's site as well, I believe they are already working on custom tunes for it...

Eventually im going to get a tuner.. but the SCT one just seems way to advanced for me. I understand how everything with an engine works.. but i dont think i want to be making my own A/F ratio's and timing adjustments on my new truck.

Am i just misunderstood here? Is it simpler than im thinking it is?

Yeah this is the tuner I've been waiting for. I was pretty much sold on Superchips, only because I thought it was the best one available. But now since SCT finally realeased theirs, they will be recieving 600 dollars of my money (when I get it to spend )

Its a plug and play opperation I believe. Its nice to know that if you ever got to the point that you needed a custom tune in your truck, you could have it. I know in the Mustang world (dont anyone shoot me now) that SCT is an extremly popular tuner. I have all the confidence in the world that this should be no different.

I think the Superchips is fine if you are anywhere from bone stock to the basic CAI, Cat-back & tuner mods. If you plan on stopping there (and many do) then you'll get a nice performance and mpg boost from it. ANYTHING past that, like headers, cam, etc. and you will get a hell of a lot more bang from the SCT. And if you take a trip to the dyno and have a custom tune to get the most out of your setup, you will have taken it to the max...
