Default Parking

O.K., here's the deal, my driveway is on a slope. I noticed if I pull in nose up, she makes more noise than normal running for the first minute or so of driving. Seems to be more quiet rump up in the spot. Which do you think is better for start up oil flow, and how long for warm ups during winter/summer?

Try backing it in and parking nose down, see if it makes a difference.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Nose down it seems to be abit quieter. How about winter starts, how long before driving?

Depending on the temp. I will generally let my truck warm until the temp gauge moves. Once it does this I figure it'sgood to go, although I have a remote start and start normally about 5 minutes before I leave in the morning and it's always at normal operating temps by that time. Prior to using a remotestart this temp gauge method was what I used all the time.

I park flat and warm up for about 3~5 minutes. Your problem may be related to where the uptake is for the oil pump. I don't know, but it sounds like it is in the front, so i would park nose down all the time.
