Jesus, since when did this site become a trash talk site. It seems that lately everyone has a negative comment about someone elses ideas for their own truck. Screw em man, I got crap from som for my duck, but you know what, I am making the paymants not them. If they don't like it and tell me so, well, that's one thing. But you guy's don't need to be COMPLETE *******'S about it. He asked for opinions, not derogitory comments. Man, how about a simple, "I think that would look like crap, just my opinion", which, by the way, is what I think of the "Murdered out" look.

Flat black would be pimpin for sure. i seen pics of a flat black mercedes and rob and bigs tahoe and its pretty cool. i just wonder how it would be to keep clean. On another note i totally agree with you on why people have to come on to someone's post to talk sh*t, there's no need for that. were supposed to be hatin on fords and toyota's not each other.

ok ok ok - sorryI was ina mood.. oh and there's the ALL CAPS thing... But really, shouldn't youcall a paint shop and ask for a quote? Prices people got painting thier truck would vary widely based on where they are and what specificly they did.

I like the idea. Sounds like it would look good. I think I'm going to paint my bug flat black for the rat rod look.
I wonder if you could wet sand the gloss off. Not sure how well the paint would hold up without the clear coat though. I think they make a flat clear. Talk to a shop and see what they can do. Maybe they can just wet sand and flat clear.
