I have an '02 Ram 1500 with the 4.7L engine. It is pretty well stock except for a Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler. I was just looking for ideas of ad on's that would help save on gas. Please let me know what works, and what is a waste of money.

CAI-headers-exhaust-tuner - keep your foot out of it - that is about it

 

hey chongo, how do you lik your tuner? how much was it? does it hurt your tanny at all like over power it?

 

Most common easy bolt on mods for better mpg's would be: Tuner, Cat-back, CAI, E-Fan & Headers.

 

chenge your air filter every 5k helps too. i noticed a 1.5mpg jump after doing so.
