Flashpaq... again
Hey guys, so I am sure this is getting redundant around here but I have to ask.... In simple terms, what will the superchips flashpaq #3815 DO for my 05 QC Hemi? I have searched here on the forums and even looked at their website but I would like someone who has one or is knowledgable about them to just tell me exactly what I can expect. I am really interested in this tuner, but am in college and money is tight. I want to make sure that if I get this I won't be disappointed, or at least will only be mad with myself and know what Im getting myself into
I know people say the shifting is different with the tuner, but what exactly does that mean? Can someone explain this as if they are explaining it to their wife? (lol). I am looking for the simplest explanation possible. Thanks guys!

Very redundant, this topic has about a dozen different threads in the past week alone.

Yeah Hammer I know, thats where I was looking... but what I meant was, what does "Adjust Shift Points" mean exactly? How is it going to drive in relation to this? What will I see/feel?
Yea, it's a little mis-leading though. The shift point are only changed at WOT operation, however the firmness of the shifts is dramatically enhanced over-all.
Some don't like the shift firmness, at least at first, because the gears really "snap" in, and you'll get a little jolt. That's why there is "play" in the stock gear settings, but this "play" or "built-in slip" robs you of performance and also causes a little bit of excessive wear on the tranny. So, on paper at least, the Superchips not only increases the performance of the tranny, but extends the life as well.
You'll get this, as well as a little better performance and fuel economy to boot. Even though my mods have outgrown mine, and it'll be replaced with an SCT tuner when I install my next mod (a cam), the Superchips does a good job for a stock to mildly modded truck, and is a very solid investment...

Thanks... this is exactly what I was looking for. Pretty sure I am going to go with one of these tuners.
I just got mine yesterday and programmed my tire size right off. I already filled up with super so I did the performance tune as well as uped my shift RPM but just 100RPM's per shift. I uped my top speed to 120 though I'm sure I won't use that and I uped my REV limit a few hundred RPM as well. I just emailed superchips and asked when I'll be able to modify the TPMS.... I hate the F#$%^ thing....
