How does the overhead temp/compass deal come off. Ever since i got my sub that thing rattles like crazy. Also, the coolest thing ever happened a couple days ago. I was bumpin in my truck pretty hard then all of the sudden my rear veiw mirrow fell off from the extreme bass. Aww it was sik. Anyway the overhead console makes it sound like one of my speakers is blown and it bothers me.

 

That would really make me made My buddy just bought a g35 and when his rear view fell off it broke the winshield .

 

Under each map lamp there is a screw. BE CAREFUL taking the lenses off! Pry off the outboard hinge first! Back the screw out. The unit is hooked at the leading edge by clips. Pull down, but not hard or far. There are two wiring harnesses, but you may not need to do anything with them if you just want to secure it or add some vibration damping. It may just be a loose screw, so you may not have to go past the removal of the lenses and tightening the screw. They're torx, BTW.
