Default RE: 1500 Hemi Towing

I agree with adding airbags to the rear suspension. WhenI tow my boat (24' Pathfinder, approx 5000 - 5500 lbs total), the rear end does squat pretty good, much more than my 04 Avalanche Z66 did with the same boat. Overall, the truck tows just fine. Like others said, powerwise you are fine, you're limitations will be in the suspension and brakes. If I had a choice, for overall towing I'd pick the diesel, they just tow so much better.

I am cosindering adding airbags to my truck, but I need to do some research on them first.

Thanks all without a doubt the diesel would outpull the little Ram but she is not interested in driving it. The bumper pull is an '03 stock trailer with LED lights, dual axle, brakes on all 4 wheels, prodigy controller in the cab, entire trailer sprayed with rhino liner, and E rated tires so I have no worries with it, we drag it quite a few places with the big truck that the LQ horse trailer wont go.

What kind of mileage are you all seeing towing with the Hemi Ram ?

Thanks
