Default P0455 whats this code mean
So the check engine light came on this afternoon. I checked the code and it is P0455. What does this code mean and possible causes.

P0455-EVAP LEAK MONITOR LARGE
LEAK DETECTED . . . . . . . .

It means your gas cap is leaking real bad--like you didn't put it on, or you have a very large vacuum leak. I would have to guess that the hoses connecting to the charchol canister or up front at the solenoid are cracked and have to be replaced-------check all your hoses, if they even look cracked--replace them.
