Default ebay generic CAI comments

Since getting my Edge programmer, I can monitor the intake air temp. I drove this morning and the intake air temp was 100+ when stopped. I reinstalled my stock filter box at lunch time and it was nice and warm out, the intake are temp was in the 80's when stopped!! So if you have CAI you better have the "boxing" around it to direct the air or you are not benefitting from it.

I've got a K&N filter waiting to be dropped in.

I am thinking about building a heat shield out of aluminum flashing for the bottom half of the filter box to keep the radiant engine heat out of it.
