Default Scangauge II and tranny temps

Who has the Scangauge II in their Hemi Rams? Do you like it? Does it have the tranny temps?

I have a Scangauge II on my truck. I like it. It is limited because it will give you what the OBDII reads. Unfortunately it will not give you the Transmission Temp. However, you can just about pull everything else on it.

For me I find it helpful when I tow.

Thanks for the info, Hemichief.

I've been looking at an easy way to get the tranny temps when pulling a travel trailer. That's the main reason I was looking at the ScangaugeII.

Gerry

I actually got an analog tranny temp gauge and installed it on the pillar. It was a 30 minute job and I run that gauge right of my tranny. You should consider it. Good luck to you

Hemichief, maybe the analog gauge is the way to go.

Are there any do-it-yourself instructions available on the web?
