I Don't Do Windows!
Or at least I didn't all winter. So now that spring is almost here I decided to give the Ram a good scrub top to bottom. All looks great except I now have a spotty film on the outside of my windows that I believe is from the polymer wax used by my local Laserwash.
Anyway, I have tried everything in my garage and half of what the wife has under the kitchen sink and this stuff won't come off!
Any ideas?

I saw this on "Two Guys Garage" aka "Shade Tree Mechanics" years ago. Get yourself some Bon Ami, but it must be Bon Ami, not Comet or any other abrasive household cleaners. I use it on all my windows and it does not scratch the surface at all. It has less abrasives and really does a good job of cleaning bugs, tar, hard water spots and wax residues. I'm not sure about poly window surfaces, but it definitely works on glass.
The local Auto Glass shop that replaced my broken windshield used a fine “pumice powder†that they mixed with water to get the “Hard Water Spots†off another car that was there at the time. I have also heard the “Soft Scrub†lemon cleanser [without bleach] works well. I would think that they would work in your situation as well.
