hey everyone, i need some help. i have a 2005 1500 quad, and when i went out the other morning and started it the headlights came on by them selves. the wipers, horn, turn signals, brake lights dont work either.the abs, airbag lights are on and none of my gauges work. the odometer also is not working. any ideas?

 

I have an 2004 Quad Cab and I have the exact same problem!

 

well, if the odometer stays the same, thats good for resale, no? lol. well, i say go to the dealer and have them take a look at it if you still have the warranty. and if they ask how many miles you have, say "it added 50k to my odometer reading damn it!!" lol. good luck! by the way, you check the fuses?

hey, thanks for the reply. the warranty is over,. i took it to the dealer and they think it might be the wiring harness for the instrument cluster. they wanted to order a new one for 900.00 plus labor. i checked the fuses and they are all good. i tried to check the codes but nothing happens. the dealer hooked it to the computer and also could not get anything to show up either. charged me 65.00.any ideas?

 

if you have a friend that experienced that kind before and you could try asking him if he knows how to fix the problem.
