are they worth it ,do they work , or just hype, looking to gain a little better fuel econemy

 

Save your money. I've never read anything good about them from people who have used them on new vehicles. That idea was good if you have a carburated engine. The plate increases the Plenum volume of the intake manifold which is a benefit at higher RPM's.

What year and engine do you have?

 

I have a 04 Hemi 4x4 quad cab,I just get some dismal milage, I know I did,ent buy it to get good milage, but I am at like 8.5 to 9 in the city and I don,t drive it hard just looking to get a little help

 

Yeah, that isn't good at all. Unfortunately, there isn't anything to really help improve the mileage. I did see some increase when I switched to synthetic, but it wasn't enough to offset the cost of the oil itself. Maybe someone else has some experience with the Hemi and be able to tell you what they did to increase the mileage. It seems that I see far more complaints about the MPG than suggestions to improve it.

Oh well, I still enjoy the HPs.
