Recently I took my truck in for service and found out I needed 6 new injectors. I had just puta half of a tankdyed diesel in, as I was in a pinch out in the field. The dealership reported to the Crysler rep that I had dyed diesel in my system and in thier brilliance, decided I needed to pay for 3 injectors and a fuel flow test, coming in at $3100.00. I guess dyed diesel is some kind of second rate fuel, like we run second rate fuel in $250000 worth of engines on site. Im sick of being treated like an idiot by Crysler and its time to trade it in for a chev or a ford. This was a problem with my truck when it had 30k on it. Now when it comes time to fix it, they wont honor the warranty. NO WHERE does it say in the manual that dyed diesel should not be used.

I believe Dyed would be off road diesel....Its not DOT approved. It will not void your warranty tho, its dyed just for tax PURPOSES only....
