I have a mopar CAI and i did my exhaust from the muffler back only. A magnaflow, 3 inch in dual 2.5 out. If i add a superchip, will i see any gains since i didnt really change my exhaust much? I did see an increase from the CAI but most of my miles are highway. How much do superchips cost and how hard are they to install? Thanks guys.

 

If messing withy means jut firming up the stock points with one of the preloaded programs, then no nothing happen. If messing with means increasing shifts with RPMs, then like I mentioned above, the stock internals may not handle the higher RPM shifts and be very bad. You have nothing to worry about by allowing the programmer to firm up your shift points.

Can someone explain to me the difference in the 3 modes, economy, towing and performance. What does each mode claim to do?

Also, I have an 02 Ram 1500 QC with the 4.7 2wd, have any of you put the chip on this vehicle? Please post your experience.
