I just got a 2002 Dodge Ram 4.7L Auto from my dad. I plan to use for towing my boat around (roughly 4200lbs with trailer). I have been towing with the truck in the past, but am thinking I should add a tranny cooler. The truck didn't come with the towing package. I plan to re-gear later. My '06 has a small trans cooler in front of the radiator but I don't have towing package. This would be worth adding so you don't burn up the trans.

 

Do you know if this is a decent brand or does it matter?

 

I don't think the brand will matter much.
