I should be shot for starting another exhaust thread, but since I am about to spend the money, I might as well don the flame suit. I digress. I don't want aREALLY lound exhaust, but I like the sound of the Flowmasters. I have heard the 70 series and the 50 SUV but just didn't seem to have the great Flowmaster sound. I have heard the clips from youtube, but it is hard to decipher if it is the right one. So I guess my question is, does anyone else have this setup on there '05 or earlier Ram and have a problem with droning? Since I don't have mds, that shouldn't be a problem, but I also don't want the 'ole lady complaining the whole time she is riding in it either. Thanks for any input or direction.

 

I put a magnaflow on mine. 3inch in dual 2.5 out. I wish i could remember the model number but what do you expect? Im a trucker lol. Its 30 inches long and not too loud. Just a nice low throaty rumble. Like you, i didnt want something TOO loud, besides the sound ***** have taken over and we have a noise ordinence. So far i havent pissed anyone off that i know. Hey semigod, how mucy wind noise do you get with those in channel Vent Shades?

 

i love my 50 suv and 3 inch tips.throaty and deep and better when hot.low drone in my mega at hwy speeds.i have in channel visors and noticed no difference.if u ride with front windows down,roll rears down at least half way and even wind will stop coming in my front windows and smacking u in the ear hole. but mabe thats because my rear windows are so big.

 

I've got the Flowmaster 9530560 single in/out and it has a real nice mellow sound. No loud noise in the cab.
