May look good depending on if they fade in time or peel.

Im planning on adding a "rumble bee" style stripe down the sides of my bed also. I think they look GREAT! I decided to have them painted on tho rather than a decal. The guy priced it out at 150 a side so 300 total. ALOT more money but alot better quality as opposed to a decal. But the factory uses decals if im not mistaken so im sure decals are just fine. Im a picky bitch so im going with paint. Thats a cool decal tho so if you like it, (i do), run with it.
decals are fine. i use them a lot. not for vehicles...but for a product that does get a lot of beating. and, you could peel it off, and buff the side of your truck is you wanna get rid of it, or change it. lets say you back into a pole, and get hit...you can't just say, "****, my decal is ruined...gotta get another one". you'll be in a ****ty boat of knowing they actually ruined your painted area, and then it'd get bondo'd over, then look liek ****, etc, etc. get it not necesarrily re-painted, but liek.."touched up". you get what i'ms aying...just keep it in mind.
