Hey everyone,

Nice lookin forum ya got here! I just picked up an '03 Ram in dang near new condition with only 58K miles on the clock. Got a deal I couldn't refuse on her. She's pretty basic which is fine with me as it's gonna be a work truck, but one thing I would like to change is the windows and doors. Right now both are manual. Seems like I could find the hardware from a junkyard and switch them over to auto. Has anyone dones this before and what parts would I need? Anyone have a link to the part schematic for the doors so I can figure it out for myself?

Same problem here. You can find kits to do both all over (the internet). However if I remember correctly the window issue is a pretty expensive one to do. The door lock conversion is pretty cheap though.

 

I do no that converting to power locks is sairly simple. I did do this on a previous truck, but had it done at a shop....Here is a site that might help you out...

winows will be expensive as u have 2 change the arm put a motor new door panel ets, locks are pretty easy though but u might want to consider remote start with alarm as this wil operate the lock and unlock on ur truck.
