I've got the stage 2, and I'll tell ya my experience with it: You need to put 91 octane gas in, or else the engine gets sluggish. The stage 2 will give you a little bit better mileage, but not enough to really offset the extra 20 cents a gallon. I've been tracking my gas mileage on an excel sheet since I bought my truck, and I've picked up 1.3mpg with the jet chip, and by my math, I'm only saving a few cents per tank of gas. So don't buy a jet chip expecting to save money at the pump. I did however, pick up a little pit of power, better throttle response, and crisper shifts. To me that was worth it. I haven't had any issues with the PCM "relearning itself" or any damage to the electronics, and I've run the chip for about six months and 5,000 miles. I've heard from friends as well as others on this forum that the stage 1 is worthless, but the stage 2 works great for me. Also, the cheapest I found the stage 2 jet chip new was at rpmoutlet.com . Hope this helps ya out.

ok thanks guys, i'm not lookin to save money at the pump, jsut do'nt want to get somthin and have to spend more money, as long as it gives me close to making up for the 91 octane and price i'll be happy, i use right at a tank a week. i'm gettin about 370 miles runnin it to complete dead empty when it says 0 miles to empty for about 20 miles. you actually have 2.6 gallons left in your truck when it says 0 Miles to Empty, jsut thought that may help ya actually figure out your mileage maybe. but yeahthanks for the info i'm definitely ooking at gettin one. is it like a substantial HP difference (like maybe 20+)?

Honestly I can't tell you how much horsepower I picked up, Jet's website claims 18hp on the 02, but I haven't had my truck on the dyno so I don't know for sure. However, it feels like I picked up about 15 more horses, and the engine feels more torquey.

I too have the 4.7 and picked up a Stage 2 on e-bay for $80. The main reason I wanted it was to pick up more power when I tow our 25' travel trailer. I was able to test it out towing last weekend and I can honestly say that it has helped....a little! I say a little because I noticed that it is a little more "torquey" and gets me out of the hole faster. Before the Stage 2, I used regular unleaded when not towing and 91 when I tow because I found with the 87 the engine would "ping" a bit when towing. Since the Stage 2, I have been running nothing but 91 as it says. I have yet to install the Jet 160 degreeT-Stat yet, but I only received it from JEGSthis pastTuesday. Gas mileage wise...well, towing still sucks and I guess none of us will ever be happy with any MPGas long as gas is at $3.89 gal. I will install the T-Stat hopefully this weekend. I can't see that it will do much more with it but hey...that's what they say you need so here it goes.
Anybody have any experience with a Throttle Body Spacer? I'm looking at doing that next....any ideas, tips or advice would be appreciated.

Throttle body spacers are an expensive paper weight, totally worthless on the Ram.
