im trying to buy a 40 series muffler but im having trouble with the sizes. i measure my 50 series and its 24" overall length 3in in and 2.5 out i think. the body is like 18 or 19". but the only 40 series i can find is overall length of 19". i dont think this will fit. advice? and what is the big different between the 40 series delta flow, and the original 40 series? [:'(]

 

why dont you like the 50 series. just curious because im getting my 50 hd put on tomorrow.

 

its not loud enough for me. the 50 series hd is loud, but i dont have the hd. i just have the 50 series that came in a system off of performancecenter. its a good muffler, and some say they can hear me coming but i want it louder. i thot about just dumping it out of the muffler, but i want my tips so ya. but i dont think any of the 40 series im looking at will fit. kind of a pisser ha. where you getting your system from?

 

i got my muffler from autoanything for 152. i got my tips on ebay and the rest of the piping is being done at the muffler shop. my friends uncle owns the shop

 

Just fabricate it to fit, that's why the good Lord invented the welder. Or did Al Gore invent that too?
