I have 1997 3.9 rwd ram. I do have an idea of replaceing engine by 2006 5.7 hemi?
write please what do you think? did someone did that? is it posible? how much does it cost?

I've done 5.7l hemi-transmission transplants in old mopars, unless this truck has a special place in your heart, not worth it. Way too much involved, mainly wiring. If you want a new hemi, sell your truck and buy a newer one.
