Default Torsion bar

I am just going to crank it a little to get an inch, so I should not need shocks and hopefully just going 1" will not alter the ride to bad. I will get an alignment, do not want to wear out my new mud terrains....

For those of you that have done it, do you recall how many turns you went to get to your new height?

It shouldn't take much, not done it on my own, but the two guys I helped do theirscaused me to learn that there is no exact science. It could takeone and a halfturns on one side and liketwo and a half on the other. You are just gonna have to crank a turn or two on each, lower it, measure and raise it again. Only way I know of to get the same lift on both sides...

SEVEN FULL TURNS.. YOUR TRUCK HAS TO RIDE LIKE A TANK!!!!

Lance. What I Did, So I Understood The Effect. I Measured The Fenders As Is.
Then I Jacked Up The Front Of The Truck (Will Give Relief) - Equally Gave It One Turn On Each Side.

Then I Took It For A Spin Around The Block - Driving It Kinda Rough, To Get It To Settle.

Then I Measured My Progress. To Fit My 285/75R17 BFG TA KO's I Ended Up At About 2.5 Turns. That Ever So Faintly Changed My Ride Quality.

I Would Just Go One Full Turn At A Time To Get A Feel And Understand How Your Suspension Handles The Adjustment.

EDIT: And No, With The height Your Talking About, Your OEM Shocks Will Not Be Affected.

mine has 6 or 7 turns (it's been awhile)...the first couple trips i noticed a stiffer front on bumps, but it's not noticable to me, or any passengers now. it still isn't level, but it's better than original.
