Ya I use the synthetic stabilizer. Great stuff. And if you have a higher mileage vehicle that burns oil the heavy duty stabilizer will work wonders for it.

I was wondering this too. In my old truck, I ran reg. dino oil with either Lucas or STP.
Now with the Hemi I run Mobil 1 synthetic. Does it hurt to add it to synthetic?

Back in the days when I could only afford older used cars, I'd always use dino oils and add Lucas to it.Since I started buying either new or fairly new, low mileage vehicles, I've started using only synthetics and still change the oil and filter every 3000 miles, so I've stopped using any additives...
I had a Chevy Chevette for a daily commute vehicle when I was in college as I had to travel close to 40 miles each way. (My truck at the time was a Jeep J-10 4x4 with an AMC 390 C.I. engine in it - not an ideal commuter vehicle!) That Chevette burned/leaked oil like crazy and the only thing I could do to keep oil in it was run 20w-50 with Lucas HD stabilizeradded toit...

You can use it with synthetic or regular petroleum oil.
