Default FOG LIGHT questions

Well my sylvania silverstar driver fog went out, so bought a new one. guy at advanceauto said that silverstars wear out quickly, suggested hellas. ive always heard they mess up your wiring cause of the heat. he said its hit or miss. any thoughts on hellas

also my buddys 02 has the covers for the fogs, im assuming a wire is down there for the fogs, if so his light control system doesnt have a setting or push button like mine to activate the fogs, would they just turn on with the headlight or would he have to buy a new light control system?

Thanks

Dunno about the bulbs, i still have my stockers. If he wanted to add fogs, there's a kit for it. Comes with the harness, lights and new switch. The switch is different (as you know, since yours has it from the factory).

Default RE: FOG LIGHT questions

I've been using the Hella off-road 80w/100w headlight lamps and the Hella 80w foglamps combined with the KYO Plug-n-Play heavy duty harness adapters since my Hemi Ram was new in 05' with no adversity so - not even trouble with the law - just aim them properly and be courteous. Also have 130w KC's behind the grille for extra punch when needed.
