ORIGINAL: DEMIGOD39

Sorry for the delay.

I installed the new fan motor. It was a tad bit of a PITA but I got it done. I did however kill my poor dremmel though, may it rest in peace

The A/C instanly shoots out super cold air now....it never cooled this well even when we first bought it new off the lot from Dodge.

Thanks everyone for their help. Oh and by the way install time took me about 1.5 hours with no instruction or guide. just had to sit and fiddle with it a bit and got her done.[sm=alcoholic.gif]
Right on, just in time...it was like 85 here today and just keeps going up

Great to here ypou "got her done" DEMIGOD39.
Now, don't forget to trim away the lower bottom part of the fan shroud if you have the old sytle shroud, so the water won't freeze up locking you fan blades cause more fan motor problems in the futyer.
There is as stated earlier, a TSB for both the fan motor, shroud and pigtails on this whole AC fan motor problem,
Al.

I had the same problem and I replaced the cond fan in about 20 min. I took people's advice and just cut out the little piece for the line. I thought that would be better than taking it to a dealership that wanted 180 bucks for the fan alone not counting labor and the charge to refill my system. I just bought the fan on ebay and saved alot of money. No need to bleed the system.
