Just put a set of 305 50 20 toyo proxes on my 20051500 4x2 SLT reg. cab. Even though they're only 1" different in diameter,the truck seems a whole lot lower than that and seems to wander a bit more on the highway. Anyone have any experience with these tires?

 

Any change in tire size= Alignment.

 

You're going to wander on the road more because of so much tread. Wide tires do that and with 305s, you're packing some of the widest radials on the road.

Since it's a one inch overall diameter change, your truck sits only 1/2 inch lower than it was before.

 

I went from the stock 275/55's to 305/50's and I didn't have any wandering. Still tracks straigh, no problem. The nice thing is that they are the same diameter.
