There is usually something very similar about all deals that appear "too good to be true", they almost always are...

It concerns me that there is almost no independent information regarding these various non-name brand e-bay based tuner outfits. While you're not gambling a lot of money that one will work, there is always a possibility that you're truck could suffer for your experimentation. I'd be a lot more comfortable spending my money on such a thing if I knew a lot more about it. I think I'll be waiting on this.

From what I've seen, they always seem to be the little electrical resistor you put in your inlet temp sensor to fool it into reading cold.

thats exactly what it is, it's supposed to fool your IAT sensor. honestly not worth it, causes more than $33 worth of problems.

This is a great description.......

Ebay dingdongs: AllLate Model-vehicles since 1990, are fuel injected, and have an Electronic Control Unit (ECU)-a computer chip that electronically manages and monitors your car's performance. Our modulesoptimize these functions(ignition timing and, air/fuel mixture, ect.)Because the engine isrunning at *peak efficiency*,hosepower and torque are dramaticly increased.Under normal driving conditions, you alsobenifit from *peak efficiency* by gaining up to 4 MPG!Our Modules have undergone countless DYNO tests( device that measures a cars horsepower and torque) ,and have proven time and again to dramticly increase Horsepower and Torque throughout RPM Range!

Those are $.02 resisters not chips. Biggest ripoff on fleabay. Some have put them in a plastic case to make them look real. Bottom line is that they don't do anything but throw codes.
