Stock 17's are 8'. Every listingI see for a 12.50 recommends a 8.5 or bigger, I like the look of the stock not keen on changing. I don't like the Dubs look. I suupose I could be happy with 33's.

I don't see why going to a 35" tire is a recipe for failure on a 1500, a lot of them have 33's on them stock from the factory, with wheels that weigh a proverbial TON, how much unsprung weightare on those puppies? There is no doubt in my mind that I can do a 17" wheel and 35" tire in a lighter weight than the stock 20's and 33's. And if the weight is less or equal I don't see where the great wear would come from on the suspension. The extra 2 inches diameter can be made up in gears and performance mods with no problems. Just my 2 cents worth.

i think it would be ok to put 35" but i would just put on a leveling kit and go with 33" all terain either BFG, Nitto, or Mickey Thompson
