I have 37" Nitto Mud Grapplers on 20" KMC Rockstars! They are a bog enough tire I don't lose too much sidewall putting them on a 20" wheel!

Yea, 37's is the smallest I'd go on a 20" wheel. You're almost to where you'd have the sidewall a 35 has on 17" wheels. Hell, if I didn't have a cheezy IFS front end, I'd be running 38's on a 20" wheel, myself. VERY nice truck, BTW.
I give my opinion and have stated that this is what my years of experience off-road has taught me would strictly be better from a performance stand point. If you are in it for the look, or don't really care about the performance aspect, hey, it's your truck, your cash, do what you want!
I'm not trying to be critical of what you do to your truck, but when asked for an honest opinion, that's what I'm gonna give. You're all big boys, use the info you get here to formulate your own opinions and go for it...

i was kinda worried about the rim to tire ratio, thanks for clearing that up guys. dodgenitto, thos are the exact rims i wanted to run with. if i do the 3" lift, change to the 18" rockstars, do you guys think i'll be able to comfortably fit 35's under my truck? i've been looking at either the MT ATZ Radials or the Toyo Open Country MT's

The body lift alone would not do anything for the "raked" look (front end down) as it lifts everything the same 3". Look at doing an inexpensive level kit with the body lift for a great looking, level stance.
You'd clear the 35s with just the body kit, but the addition of the level kit would not only give a better look, but give some added room to "flex".
Did I say those were great tire choices? Either one would be killer!!![8D]

does he have a 4x4? if he has a 4x2 i dont think he'll clear 35's. i ahve a 3" body and i doesnt look like i could clear 35's without the leveling kit. but if he has 4x4..thats a different story.

I have the Hankook MT31570R17's and they barely clear with the leveling kit (2500). They are a D load range at 3185lbs/tire so I'm not hauling 10T of hay or anything.... but they do alright in the mud and snow

after all the fuss and decisions with tires and all that i think ive finally fell upon the pro comp xtreme A/T's

look pretty nice......look mean and have nice tread....nice thick tread and theyre A/Ts but to me look somewhat like M/Ts. and with the A/T you get more mileage out of them.

after i saw them on my buddys truck...i had to get them. theyll be ordered in a few weeks.

Yes, I was impressed when I saw the Pro Comp Extreme All terrains too, but now that I have seen the Dick Cepek FC II's they look even better and meaner, plusI have heard they are more durable also. So now I just need to get a size that will work, 33 or 35's?
