my 06 hemi idles at 500rpm when a/c is off, and it idles rough at that rpm, but with a/c on and if i tap the gas a tad while holding the break it idles smoothly at 600rpm

my 4.7 does the same and i hate how it idles so damn bad. goes to like 600 and then falls a little bit to about 550 and it idles bad, tap the gas a bit and it jumps up to about 600-650 and its fine there.

I have a 5.7 hemi and same thing...without ac 500rpm and semi rough...turn on the ac and bumps up to 700-800 or so...smooths out though.

Mine idles at 500-600. Since the ice age began, I haven't needed the A/C. I'm ready for global warming to start up again. Meanwhile, there is a sticker on the radiator support. It's the "... emissions ... " sticker. It should show the idle speeds.
