Here's one that has probably been covered before but I couldn't find it...
I just bought a 2005 QC Ram and would like to find out what options are on it as I have no window sticker.
Any ideas how to get this information? Thanks.

 

Go to Dodge.com, ask them for one. It will show up in your email. That's for a complete list. Look at the sticker inside your glovebox, for a few.

 

go to the dodge dealer with your vin number

 

All you need is your VIN #, ask for a "build sheet". Chrysler will email it back to you, usually in less than 48 hrs.

did the dealer not have the window sticker? thats a bummer! i think you shoulda done this before buying the truck. but now that you mentioned it, thats when i remembered to mention it as well. lol. so i take it you bought the truck? congrats dude!!! get some pics soooon!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I did and the funny thing is I always stress over spending that kind of $$ but ownership is growing on me. It is the nicest truck I have ever had. No Hemi but I am happy just the same.

Here are some pictures of it. Seriously mint condition inside and out. The undercarriage, engine and compartment are just like the day it came off the showroom floor. The odometer hit 5600 miles on my way to work this morning... not bad for a 2005!

I will try the dealer or Dodge.com for the build sheet... thanks for the info all.

any mods planned?

 

Not really. Other that buying the factory fog light kit and tinting the back window, I plan to get a set of Weathertech floor trays front and rear.I got a set for my wife's '08 Taurus and like the way they protect the carpet.
I may want to look into an alarm system as the Ram doesn't have one. That's another research project.
I did the exhaust mod on my Dakota and finally gottired of the loud mufflers do I will keep that stock on my Ram.
I got to get to bed as the alarm will be going off in 4-1/2 hours. I will check in again tomorrow... have a good evening.

 

I emailed Chrysler and they did email me back with a build sheet. I was a little bummed that it did not have the anti-slip rear.

As an after thought I emailed them back and asked about remaining warantee as I did find out that the truck was first licenced on May 2005 and they said that their records show that the truck has an extended service warantee and for the second owner, it can be transferred for $150! Wow, what a bonus. My question now is whether or not the dealership that I bought the truck from is considered the second owner. A co-worker said that unless the truck was relicensed to the dealership, I am the second owner. Does that sound reasonable?

I have emailed Chrysler again about it and plan on stopping at my local Dodge dealer tomorrow to ask about it. I have no paperwork on it as I bought it from a Ford dealer.
I would like to think the dealer did not know about the extended warantee as they tried to sell me a $2000 extended warantee during the final paperwork signing.
