I had this same problem on my 05. But it turned out to be the switch for my plow. However even after checking all the lights it did turn out to be a brake light. There was a thread awhile back that someone was having this same issue and it was actually a loose lamp. You could go to like autozone and they can also track it. Another thing you can try is un hook the battery for about 30 seconds and reconnect, if it comes on right away after turning the key you have one out somewhere. good luck.

This thread asking the same question: https://dodgeforum.com/m_1052711/tm.htm

Seems like it's a common problem, but nobody can answer my question about the aftermarket lights possibly fixing it, or if that piece (#6) will still be a problem.

Iv'e noticed that people have this problem and there is no light burnt out, but sometime in the neer future it burns out. So, to me this is a reminder get to the store to buy brake lights and turn signal lights(at least that's waht's seems to go more often).
