Hey all, i'm new here and had a quick question. I thought that the 01 and 02 dodges only came with 6 speed manual but do they still have 5 speeds. And wat do i have to look for to get the 6 speed?

 

I'm not an authority, but I'd say that at least the Gen 2 Rams only offered the five-speed. Since '02 was the first Gen 3, I'd say it, too, only offered a five. Someone else can jump in here and confirm when the six-speeds entered the option list.

 

i know that you can get six speeds in them i drove an 01 with a six speed.

 

ok, i figured it out, got the anwser of the ford forums. The six speed comes in the ho motors from 00-03 and the 5 speed in the standard output motors 00-03. thanx for all your input

 

02 is still a 2nd gen ram for the 2500's.
