I think you will still beat him even if he puts in the Superchip. Cause getting rid of 450 or more pounds will help you out alot. Good luck.

Does he have the same size tires as you and are the rear ends the same. makes a big difference..I have a Quad cabh 4x4 04 Hemi with 17 inch tires and a 3.55 rear and I can blow off any Hemi with 20 inch tires.

Uh, I dont think so Holmes! you might think twice before putting such a broad statement out there.
Even stock, which I am not, my regular cab short bed,3.92 geared 5.7 on 20in rims is going to put a serious *** whoopin on a full size truck with 3.55 gear. Especially a quad cab 4x4.

I would really be surprised if my wheel & tire combo was holding me back more than a tenth or so compared to an identical truck on 17s.

I do know that a quad cab Hemi that's 2wd is a good 5 tenths faster than I am simply due to weight. It's time for torque converter & efan conversion [8D]

They look heavy but they are really not that bad. The chrome clad over and aluminum wheel makes up for a lot of weight.
