driving so I'll keep it short, may add later.
California in general is full of posers and fake people that desperately try to impress others with what they've got.
Why are you trying to act like you go off roading when you dont? (talking bout the lifted 4x2s in general) and if you do go offroading why didnt you buy a 4x4 and for the idiots that say maybe thats all they could afford, its not much more exp and if you can't afford it why can you afford a lift and tires?? Bet there's more modded civics per capita in calif than any other state.

I just think if you going to lift a truck you might as well use it. I dont see a point of lifting a truck and driving around the city. I'm sure there is alot of people that just lift it for looks but the only good reason i think for a lifted "city" truck is if you only enter competitions. (show trucks).

its not a wanna be factor at all ramitone... Its wanting your truck to sit higher with mudtires...If it was a wanna be factor people would slap a 4x4 badge on it and tell everyone it was 4x4. But thats not the case. Its not a bunch of 4x2 drivers "posing" to be 4x4 drivers, its 4x2 drivers putting a lift on the truck. Since when does that mean they want to be drive a 4x4?

so thats the reason? because everyone in cali is a 'poser?' lol. wow. that makes so much sense! now i see why only 4x4 trucks should be lifted. screw 4x2's, stupid posers. those arent even trucks! screw this ****, im gonna go buy myself a toyota tacoma v4 4x4 and lifting it. screw a full size 4x2 with a lift.

Show trucks are diff, dont know if I said it in this thread. A show truck should have mods thats cost totals about 50% of the original cost new of the truck. An srt 10 hood and wheels with some ground effects looks nice but isn't a shoe truck, and adding a color light in the grill doesn't help

Back to calif, look at the jackasses that wear sun glasses inside, color their hair, angle their hats. All POSERS!

good lord i know but im sticking up for the people that do lift. If we are talking about GIANT mud tires and huge lifts, than i think pretty much anytruck looksdumb with that! You know the trucks that are pushing or over the legal limit... I guess its one thing to have it in a show with tons of mods and lifted like that, but i would see anyother reason for something to be lifted that high. Any off-roaders? Is there truely a need for something THAT big? (real question, i dont know)

good lord i know
then whyd you act like i was attacking what you did to your truck.

yeah the guys that lift em taller than hell are retards, its not even a ford or chevy or a dodge after its lifted that high. no theres no real reason if you go muddin, if you rock crawl theyre ok, but then again youll tip over more often. one of my friends has one of those huge jacked up trucks, but its at his place he has way out in the country, has a a few 3-5 foot deep creeks that go between his property and needs a way to cross, some of it is swampish and a lot of thick brush, so in his case the huge lift and HUGE tires makes since, its a beater truck that he leaves on property, no tags or registration.
