I know the dealer wont give you more for upgrades but subtract because its not stock. I just dont want to take everything off and have the dealer say 17k and have to put it all back on and try and sell it privately. I will post it up here and craigslist anybody intrested can send pics lol. Thanks for the info I still cant believe how domestic's depreciate so much I saw a 03 for 8,000.

In december I went with a buddy truck shopping at our local dealership. Now, I play golf with and have given lessons to the sales mgr., so maybe he offered him a little stonger deal than the average shmoe off the street. Bottom line was $24,200 on abrand new, leftover '07 QCSB Hemi 4x4 with the Laramie package, Sticker just under $40k, absolutely loaded with leather and every option except sun roof.
(Guy ended up not being able to get financing anywhere with a 550 credit score - be carefull there too, as so many loans & mtg's are going bad). Based on "that off the lot" price, unless you were trading "UP" to something a lot more expensive, I doubt you'll see more than $17k for it. I hope I'm wrong, for your sake, but I think that's what you'll find...

Mainly, dealers are in the business of flipping cars while making money. They will make you (what we consider) ridiculous offer and its up to the consumer to take it or leave it. Btw, tomorrow is the end of the month. If you want to try to trade in on a new car tomorrow is the day to visit the branch!!!!

Well went to 3 Honda dealerships today first dealership started at 16,500 and haggled a little and got it up to 21,000, and got 2,500 off my new CRV. The other 2 even after telling them what the first dealership had offered wouldnt budge a inch16-17,500and would onlytake 200.00off the newCRV. Said that gas prices are going up and nobody is buyingRam's now, that is why Dodge has such big rebates. Went back to the first dealership and took the deal real quick. Thanks for the help guys. Already missing the Hemi but I got navi and leather now to play with. LOL

You cannot sell a used RAM for what they are worth, the new ones are such a steal.... sounds to me like you WAY overpaid dude....

Losing 2k in 3 months aint bad at all. Supposed to lose 5,000 once you drive it off the lot. Dodge Ram's sticker price is a joke sticker says 39,000 but you can end up paying 27,000 for it.

When I was looking at Ram's the used ones were either same if not more thennew. Makes no sense.
But looks like your mega cab is a cummins, diesal's always has a greatmarket regardless. Kinda wish I bought a diesal dont think I would have traded my Ram in if it was.
