Default 07 1500 shock question

I have an 07 1500 Regular Cab 4x4 SLT truck with a 5.7 Hemi. We installed a 2" front leveling kit and installed 18" XD series monster wheel and 285/65/18 BF Goodrich radial T/A's. The truck looks great this way, but we need to install some new shocks. With the added weight of the new wheel and tires and the installation of the leveling kit, the front end rides very rough out on the rode at highway speeds. If you hit a pothole the front end will walk or kick you one way or the other and the front wheels seem to bounce. What shocks does everyone suggest we install? The truck is just for looks, very limited off road use.

Thanks

Default RE: 07 1500 shock question

Rancho's or Bilstein's, but you will still have a "stiffer" front end, most people who install coil spacer kits report a harsher front end. This can range from mild to extreme. A good quality shock of the proper length should help some, but don't expect it to be just like it was before the spacers...
