Default leveling kit

for those of you that have done your leveling kit yourself i have a few questions after the install of mine. i installed mine 2 days ago. i have a 2wd and i bought 2.5" spacers from daystar. i read both the DIys for the 4x4 and the 2WD. i went by the 2WD for obvious reasons and i just want to mkae sure i did things right when i did mine.

Does yours sometimes make noise when you hit bumps? Does it sometimes bounce? Is there a wrong way to installing the coil/spring? Are you suppose to keep the spacer thing thats already in there and put the new spacer in between the spring and the old rubber boot thing. that what i did and thats what the DIY showed. i just want to make sure evrything i did went right. i just sometimes second guess myself. any other info you guys can add would be great.

I havent gotten an alignment yet....and my camber is pretty bad. the bottom is kicked in and the top of the tire sticks out. also my alignment is bad. but im not going to get it fixed until i get my new tires which will be soon. I will also be putting new shocks in. hopefully that will aid into the ride not being so bad. does anyone know if i need longer shocks? when i go online all of the shocks say 0" lift....cant find anything else. i was looking at the rancho rs9000.

my tires have real problems. the belt inside came apart or something like that and theres a pretty good sized lump in each of my tires and that also aids in the terrible ride...and yes i know that will fix a great deal of it....but it still seems a little hard in the front due to the leveling kit. so if you guys could answer my questions and help me out i would be very thankful.

btw, i have a 3" body lift and a 2.5" leveling kit....2WD....305/50R20 tires -> going to 35x12.5r20 from Dick cepek

Just figured I'd save you the trouble of PM'ing me (again!)[&:]
I've never done a level on a 2wd, so maybe one of the many who have will chime in.

The part # I gave you in reply to your last PM, was for a Rancho RS9000X that came with my 4" lift, I would imagine that it would fit your truck after you level and lift.

An alignmet will take care of your castor/camber issues, assuming you take it to someone who knows how to do a proper alignment.

Great tire choice BTW , I bet they are expensive as hell in 20" flavor...[:@]

Oh, yea, and I know your sig pic is before the level and "rigged" so:

hopefully theyll chime in. ab=nd i appreciate the part 3 you gave me hammer and looks like a great shock, however when i tped in thatpart # its made for the 4x4, which your is and mine isnt...but if it will fit on my truck then ill buy it. I know a caster/camber will take care of that. and ya, you better be right hammer! im going with your tires because of your word on them. and ya at $340 a tire they better be nice.

just got an idea from another post that the rough ride and clunking sound when i hit small bumps could be my ball joints...what do you think?

ill get pics as soon as i get a camera to take them with since my dad has the camera and is out of town

Did you put the spring isolators back in when you assembled the struts? Just thought I would ask!

I DID NOT PUT THE SPRING ISOLATOR BACK IN, JUST THE DAYSTAR SPACER.MINE IS ALSO 2WD. I ONLY WENT WITH THE 1.5 SPACER, NO PROBLEMS . AFTER MUCH RESEARCH I WOULD HAVE WENT WITH THE 3 SPINDLES...IF I WANTED THAT MUCH LIFT, NO NEED FOR NEW SHOCKS .
