Default tonneau cover

Has anyone put a tonneau cover on their bed with a spray on bed liner?

I have a 08 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab and I am looking to buy a color matched tonneau cover; however my spray on bed liner is over the rail. I dont want to be able to see the bed liner since it is black and my truck is orange (the same color I want the tonneau cover). Will the tonneau cover be able to seal properly having an over the rail bed liner? Which tonneau cover would work the best?

I could be wrong but it really depends on the tonneau cover you get. there are some that fit inside the bed frame and then others that lay on the top of the bed and clamp on to it. The one I had on my old truck closed down just a litte over the side.

did you have a spray on bed liner? How was the seal? Could you see the bed liner? Was in fiberglass?

well, the best way to do it (which i did but ended up not getting a tonneau just yet) is to go to a tonneau dealer and do some measuring and see if they can hook it up.

I was gonna do the same thing, i have an over the rail reflex liner. The dealer was the 1 that hooked up my liner and he was gonna sell me the cover. I went with a toolbox instead tho. According to him it would fit up no prob. As highduke said, id check some simple measurements and see how you end up looking.

I don't know if this will help but I just put a Mopar fabric tonneau on my truck with a spray in liner. Sealed no problem.
